I just wanted to say happy New Year to everyone. It's the 2nd decade of the 2nd millennium. I hope everyone had a good first 10 years.

The Return of the Adventurers

It looks like the KMST updates will be patched into the game on the 7th of January. Though I noticed they haven't mentioned some of the updates, but this is just a patch preview so it is probably all of them. Some classes have also not been touched at all so I hope this isn't the end of these updates.

Evan Release

Well Evan released a couple of days ago. [Thursday the 17th of December]

I didn't get to create one until Friday. Every time I went to make one KMS went through a patch. There has been two patches since the Evan patch on Thursday. KMS are doing this a lot now. It's annoying, especially since now my game doesn't seem to want to patch and would rather just delete the EXE file but oh well.

I decided to make an Evan in the brand new Mir server. Since the release of Aran all the new servers have been themed after these new classes. I just made this Evan to see what's what before I start filming stuff. Being the new server it's quite busy with a lot of Evans.

But the launching of a new class wouldn't be complete without someone using a summoning sack to kill all the new characters. This was no exception. Though someone outdid themselves this time be using a Black Sack. I thought perhaps it was a fake Boss... Turns out it wasn't.

It's impressive that someone got a Black Sack on the new server. So I guess it will be a few days before someone can kill it.

So I’ll have to try and knuckle down this weekend and make my actual Evan. Though I’m not sure what to call it or what server to play on.

Evan Preview

Only 2-3 more days until the Evan class is released! I can't wait. But as usual I have no time :(

I haven't even made an Aran on GMS for the rings yet. But anyway, just like with the Aran patch they have added a few bits and pieces into the game already. A few of the maps have already been added/altered and some of the new monsters are already in game:

I uploaded the in game trailer yesterday. As I said it seems a lot more peaceful than the Cygnus and Aran trailers which all seem to be about war and fighting.

But they have also opened up most of the Pig Farm and have added the Pre Quests for Evan. Oh and since I got asked this a lot for Cygnus and Aran, you don't need to do these quests to make an Evan they are optional.

Before you can start the quests you must watch the earlier trailer. Then they start. It's just simple fetch quests. You need to collect 7 items for Cassandra. They have a really high drop rate. Most of the time when I accepted the quest the etc was already on the ground when I went back to the map I was hunting on.

On the 7th quest you get a reward. It is either a piece of Level 50 Dragon Armour or a 60% wand/staff scroll. I have only done this on my Aran and my Wind Breaker and both times I got the Tail Armour. Perhaps that is just a coincidence or maybe it has a higher rate?

Then I thought I would finish off with a little tour of the Pig Farm. Only some portals can be accessed so I just skipped the ones that can't. I am guessing they perhaps lead to the Evan tutorial maps.

The farm looks quite nice though not as nice as Rein or anywhere close to Ereb. But I think that is because it has to blend in with Henesys. Though for a Pig Farm there are an awful lot of eggs.

Oh and I apologise for the lag in the video. But I have had a lot of trouble with KMS lately. It took me a while to patch it that’s why I am a bit later with this.

Upload - Lv 51 Aran Faust Boss

 

Well I was doing some quests in Ellinia and it so happened there were some Faust bosses down there. I didn't plan on filming anything but I thought I might as well.

As I dropped down to Faust at the bottom I mobbed up a bunch of Malady's to quickly build up my combo. Faust is an easy boss even for an underpowered Aran like me.
